We bring to you another Jazz Minute. In this second episode of our three-part series exploring the history of Cuban jazz, we dive into the rumba craze of the 1940s, the cross-cultural influence of bebop, and the rise of the mambo.
Our 2025–26 Season celebrates many of Cuba’s greatest artists, including Juan de Marcos and the Afro-Cuban All Stars, who will be performing at the SFJAZZ Center from November 13–16.
