Tag along as Monsieur Periné explores San Francisco during their four-night residency at the SFJAZZ Center. The band’s two leaders Catalina García and Santiago Prieto walk us through their favorite Colombian cuisine at Pacifico at B-Side, take their first-ever robo taxi, go crate digging at Discodelic in the Mission, stack up their favorite artists, and bring us onstage with them during an SFJAZZ performance.
Part 1 - Colombian Cuisine w/ Pacifico
“Colombians are dessert people...” Catalina García and Santiago Prieto (Monsieur Periné) give us a full tour of Colombian cuisine at Pacifico, a family-run Latin American restaurant blending the bold, coastal flavors of Colombia, Peru, and California. Founded by husband-and-wife duo Chef Daniel Morales Vallejo and Laura Gelvez, Pacifico began as a series of beloved pop-ups across San Francisco and now proudly anchors the residency at B-side Bar at SFJAZZ’s in Hayes Valley.
