This week on ‘Fridays Live’ features supremely inventive Israeli trumpeter Avishai Cohen, a familiar Bay Area presence from his six-year stint in the SFJAZZ Collective. This performance focuses on material and music from his newest quartet release for ECM, 2024’s ‘Ashes To Gold’. Featuring pianist Tom Oren, bassist Barak Mori, and drummer Ziv Ravitz, this concert is a call for peace expressed through music.
