A group of stellar instrumentalists and fusion-era Miles Davis alumni come together as Miles Electric Band, a multi-generational group specializing in the wired-up and funky music Davis created from the late 1960s to the ‘80s on albums including Bitches Brew and You’re Under Arrest.
Led by the legendary trumpeter’s nephew, drummer Vincent Wilburn, Jr., the band features several of the commanding musicians Davis tapped for his various jazz-rock ensembles, including keyboardist and Music Director Robert Irving III, bassist Darryl Jones, and percussionist Munyungo Jackson — all veterans of multiple Miles Davis tours and recordings from the late 80s and early 90s.
