In honor of Andrew Hills's birthday today!

The last musician personally advocated by Blue Note Records founder Alfred Lion as a major voice in jazz, Hill was a visionary artist who infused his background in classical composition into a highly individual blend of angular hard bop with avant-garde exploration.
