1h 0m
For this encore Family Matinee performance, the Bay Area’s own GRAMMY Award-winning Alphabet Rockers light up the SFJAZZ Center with a hip-hop infused celebration, sharing moments to reflect, express and uplift affirmations. For this exciting and highly interactive matinee, the Rockers present songs from their GRAMMY-winning album, The Movement, combining movement, song, rap, live DJ and visual media.
ALPHABET ROCKERS make music that makes change. Founded by Kaitlin McGaw (she/her) and Tommy Shepherd (he/him/they), this intergenerational group creates brave spaces to shape a more equitable world through hip-hop. Their GRAMMY-nominated albums inspire American youth and families to stand up to hate and be their brave and beautiful selves. Alphabet Rockers curates their content together with the community, centering and amplifying children’s voices. SFJAZZ is proud to present this talented and change-making group from the Bay Area!
